New class for 2012 Exploring Beading Techniques
Thursday 10.30am to 1.30pm Fee £15 per day
This is a series of six classes exploring beading stitches and their versatility. The class is suitable for beginners and improvers wishing to increase their knowledge of stitches.
Alison will start in March with Peyote stitch and the variety of ways in which it can be used; starting with flat even count, flat odd count, tubular. etc. Most stitches will take more than one session.

May 1st Tuesday
Jean Power Geometric 2-8-1 10am to 4pm Fee £40
This amazing design is made in Peyote stitch and is formed of 11 stars, each of which is made using 5 pieces of beadwork. The necklace is completed with jump rings and a beaded clasp.
May 2nd Wednesday
Jean Power Interlocking Crystals 10am to 4pm Fee £40
These crystal delights interlock together to create a wide range of jewellery. Earrings, Bracelet or Necklace. A basic knowledge of Peyote stitch is required, and you will work with 10mm, 12mm and 14mm Rivolis
June 19th Tuesday
Cascade Day with the Beadworkers Guild 10am to 4pm Fee £28
Theme - Charles Rennie MacKintosh and Margaret MacDonald
During the day we can experiment with different techniques related to the theme. Samples will be available to examine, and also worksheets. Members of the Guild will bring the 2012 competition winning exhibits for us to see. The latest items from Guild members 2012 projects will also be here for us to view.
This is a great day to see items from the guild collection, and to meet members of the Guild committee.
