Embroidered Insects with Heide Henkins
September 5th and 6th Thursday and Friday 10am to 4pm Fee £65

Heide will bring her wonderful hand stitched Embroidered Insects for us to see and to make. She will bring a selection of very detailed handouts from which we can choose the insect we would like to make. Other handouts will also be available so that we can continue the process after the class.
As you can see from the pictures, Heide has made some of her insects to use as part of a necklace, but they would look stunning in any setting. They would grace any textile work, or adorn a box. Beads can also be added if desired.
Heide's work is absolutely beautiful and greatly admired. She does not have a web site but is a member of exhibiting groups and the Beadworkers Guild. Google her name and you will find sources for her varied achievements.
